Final Glastonbury 2010 tickets sell out

Fans snap up last remaining batch after just 67 minutes

The final batch of Glastonbury festival tickets have sold out.

The last remaining tickets for the June 25-27 festival went on sale at 9am (GMT) this morning (April 11), and sold out after just over an hour.

Standard tickets, priced at £175, were all gone by 10.07am (BST), with the few remaining coach passes gone by 11am.

Around 178,000 fans will descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset for the festival’s 40th anniversary which will be headlined by U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder.

Empire Of The Sun, Orbital, Vampire Weekend and Hot Chip are also set to perform.

Mos Def, George Clinton and Devendra Banhart meanwhile will appear on the new West Holts Stage, which will be held at the same location as the Jazz World Stage, which it is replacing.
