Editors play ‘dream’ show at Glastonbury

Band describe Other Stage slot as 'best of their lives'

Editors returned to Glastonbury tonight (June 23) for a storming set on the Other Stage.

The Birmingham band mixed their set with a host of tracks from their debut ‘The Back Room’ and new album ‘An End Has A Start’.

Among the newies were ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’, the title track from their new LP and ‘The Weight Of The World’ which singer Tom Smith said was “written for this place” before adding: “This is a dream come true for us.”

The quartet also laced their set with hit singles ‘Munich’, ‘Bullets’, ‘Blood’, ‘Fingers In The Factories’ and album track ‘Sparks’.

As the band closed their set Smith added: “Thank you for making this one of the best moments of our lives.”

Editors made their debut at the festival for an opening set on the Other Stage two years ago.

‘An End Has A Start’ is out on Monday (June 25).
