Muse, Foals, ELO and Jess Glynne experience post-Glastonbury chart boost

Christine & The Queens also up in albums chart, while Tom Odell falls

With Adele set to head back to Number One following her Glastonbury Festival headline slot, a whole host of other acts have also seen a sales increase after gracing the stage at Worthy Farm.

Adele’s 2011 album ’21’ has seen a surge in the charts, currently sitting at number nine, with debut album ’19’ moving up to number 13. Her most recent album ’25’, however, looks on track to take top spot.

Elsewhere, this year’s ‘legend’ slot occupants ELO are up seven places to Number Three with best of album ‘All Over The World’, while Christine & The Queens’ debut ‘Chaleur Humaine’ is up eight places to Number Four.

Jess Glynne’s ‘I Cry When I Laugh’, meanwhile, is up 21 places to Number 14, while Friday headliner Muse re-enter the chart at Number 15 with ‘Drones’. Foals also re-enter the charts at Number 19 with ‘What Went Down’

Sunday festival closers Coldplay remain at Number Six, while Tom Odell‘s new album ‘Wrong Crowd’ falls ten places to Number 17 despite appearing at the festival.
