Music starts at Glastonbury on Thursday night

Candie Payne is among the acts playing early sets

Music has kicked off early at the 2007 Glastonbury Festival tonight (June 21).

Several of the smaller side stages, including the Leftfield Stage, have had acts on today with highlights including Ox Eagle Lion Man, The Blood Arm and The Draytones.

In the Queen’s Head Tent, Liverpool chanteuse Candie Payne had one of the biggest audiences of the evening with fans spilling out into the field.

The singer performed an an upbeat set showcasing her debut album ‘I Wish I Could Have Loved You More’, including ‘Just One Little White Lie’ and the title track and single itself.

The main action is set to kick off tomorrow (June 22) with Arctic Monkeys and Bjork both headlining.
