Police warn Glastonbury-goers to prepare for being towed out of festival

Cars have been getting stuck in the mud while trying to exit the festival

Police have warned Glastonbury-goers to prepare in case they need to be towed out of the festival.

Cars have already had to be pulled out of the mud on the way to the exit.

“Preparing to leave @GlastoFest? Save time by finding your car’s tow hook, just in case you need it later,” Glastonbury’s police officers tweeted.

Twitter users have reported that tractors have already been needed to pull cars out of mud.

“Complete carnage at #Glastonbury. Unending queues, Camper Vans being towed on site by tractors one at a time. Car being sent away,” wrote one user.
