THE CHAIN GANG!

The comedy rappers tempt out the likes of The Darkness, SFA and, er, Dannii Minogue...

Goldie Lookin Chain wound up their ‘AN OUNCE DON’T COME FOR FREE’ tour with three star-studded nights at LONDON ASTORIA over the weekend.

The kappa-rappers sold out Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (October 22, 23, 24) in central London at the end of a debut tour of the country that saw them whip crowds into a frenzy nationwide.

Famous friends and fans including Danger Mouse, Roots Manuva, Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys and Goldie Lookin Chain’ Frankie Poullain all turned out to lend their voices to chants of ‘Your Mother’s Got A Penis’, alongside some more unlikely hangers-on.

Dannii Minogue, who was playing at the G-A-Y club in the same venue directly after the show on Saturday (October 23) made a point of watching the rappers. Meanwhile, crewmember DCI Burnside came face-to-face with his alter-ego Chris Ellison, who played DCI Burnside in ‘The Bill’.

A [/a] source now claims that they are launching a campaign to bring Burnside back into the police drama, or to grant him a spin-off series of his own.
