The animated popsters get their own full-length feature...
Gorillaz founder JAMIE HEWLETT has said work has now started on an animated movie based on the cartoon band.
Speaking in the US, where the group are currently on a North American tour, he said the full-length cartoon will be “very dark” in nature.
He told www.billboard.com: “It’s going to be a very dark film, perhaps with cannibals and zombies. I think it may be called ‘Celebrity Harvest.'”
Gorillaz released a new single, ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’, yesterday (February 25) in the UK. Their second album is likely to be the soundtrack to the movie.
