Tweets suggest that he's preparing to return to the airwaves in the coming hours

Gorillaz‘s Murdoc Niccals has hinted that he’s about to launch a second takeover of NME.COM/radio, following his hijacking of the station last month (January 21).

Writing on Twitter yesterday, Murdoc said:

“It’s on! New broadcast of my Plastic Beach Lighthouse Rrrradio show coming tomorrow! And I’ve chosen a couple of platinum cuts from the album!”

A further Tweet from Murdoc this morning stated that NME.COM/radio was “in my sights!”

During last month’s takeover, Murdoc said he had some “brand new Gorillaz tracks”, hinting that he may air them on his next takeover.

To tune in to NME.COM/radio, head to Sky Channel 0184, Virgin Media 975, Freesat 727, DAB nationwide or NME.COM/radio.
