Lead single from 'Plastic Beach' to hit airwaves

Gorillaz‘ new single ‘Stylo’ is set to be played on NME.COM/radio tonight (January 20) at 5:30pm (GMT).

The single is the first to be taken from Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett‘s third album under the cartoon band guise, ‘Plastic Beach’, set for release in March.

Meanwhile, the band’s ‘frontman’ Murdoc has commented on ‘Stylus’ hitting the internet.

On his Twitter account, Twitter.com/murdochgorillaz, he wrote: “A leak! A leak! ‘Plastic Beach’ has sprung a leak! One of those Russian pirates has put a bullet hole on my island! My single’s leaked! ‘STYLO’!”
