GORKY’S MISS OUT, MO-HO-BISH-O-PI GET IN!

The latest lowdown on the NME Premier Shows...

Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci have pulled out of the NME PREMIER SHOW on January 25 at the LONDON WC1 ASTORIA – because one of the band is stranded in Thailand!

The band were forced to pull out at the last minute after they realised that guitarist Richard James would not be back from holiday in Thailand in time – and they couldn’t afford to fly him back early or reschedule.

Gorky’s, who release new single ‘Poodle Rockin” through Mantra on February 21, will now be replaced by newcomers Mo-Ho-Bish-O-Pi on the bill, which also features Sigur Ros and headliners The Beta Band.

Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that Muse WILL appear January 31 at the BBC Radio One Lamacq Live Premier Show, also at the Astoria, which also features Ash and Angelica.

There was some confusion about whether or not they could play the gig and last week, they appeared to have cancelled altogether.

However, now they’re back on board and raring to go.
