Graham Coxon will make his live festival debut appearances at this year’s CARLING WEEKEND FESTIVALS in READING and LEEDS, nme.com can reveal.

Coxon, along with The Deftones, have been added to the line-up. Coxon will play in-between Black Box Recorder and Badly Drawn Boy (Reading August 26, Leeds 27) on the Radio 1 Evening Session Stage, while The Deftones have been confirmed to play the main stage on the same day, after Idlewild and before Elastica.

Coxon‘s band will feature Blur bandmate Dave Rowntree on drums, Idlewild‘s Rod Jones on guitar and Toby McFarland from 13/13 on bass.

The tour coincides with the release of Coxon‘s second solo album ‘The Golden D’, which is released on June 12 through Transcopic. Coxon performed all the vocals, played all the instruments and produced the album.

The Deftones, who release their new album ‘White Pony’ on June 19 through Maverick/Warners, have also announced a one off London show at the Brixton Academy on June 6. Tickets are priced #12.50.
