Reggae musician passed away aged 59
Gregory Isaacs, the reggae singer best known for his 1982 album ‘Night Nurse’, has died aged 59.
The Jamaican musician died today (October 25) at his home in London after suffering from lung cancer, reports BBC News.
His wife Linda said, “Gregory was well-loved by everyone, his fans and his family, and he worked really hard to make sure he delivered the music they loved and enjoyed.”
Sly and Robbie and Simply Red had a Number 13 single with a cover of the ‘Night Nurse’ title track in 1997.
