Grimes confirms new album is called ‘Art Angels’ and reveals artwork

Canadian artist promises to reveal new music next week.

Grimes has confirmed that her new album is titled ‘Art Angels’ and that she will reveal new music next week.

The artwork for the album was posted online (see above) by the Canadian artist, who designed the cover herself. She added that a video to accompany the new music will also arrive next week but did not specify a precise date.

Grimes recently announced details of a UK tour to take place in March 2016. She will perform in Bristol, Leeds, Nottingham, London, Birmingham and Manchester before concluding the live dates in Glasgow. The tour begins at Bristol’s Anson Rooms on March 6. Scroll down for full dates.

Grimes’ last official release was 2014 stand-alone single ‘Go’, a song originally written for Rihanna. A new album is expected soon with the musician stating in September that she will “drop some trax” before the first night of her Rhinestone Cowgirls US Tour, which begins in California on October 24.
