Grizzly Bear reveal new album details

They also plot North American tour

Grizzly Bear have revealed details of their forthcoming sophomore album, which is due out this spring.

The Brooklyn-based band are set to release ‘Veckatimest’ in the US on May 26. The album, which was produced by the band’s own Chris Taylor, was named after an island in Massachusetts the band visited while they were recording. It features 12 tracks and guest appearances by composer Nico Muhly and Beach House’s Victoria LeGrand.

The band have also announced the dates of an extensive North American tour in support of the new album, which kicks off in Portland on May 24 and concludes in San Francisco a month later.
