Ex-Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan to support his old band

Rumours continue to grow over the original line-up reforming

Ex-Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan has continued to fuel rumours that the original line-up will reform for their forthcoming induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame after confirming his band will support the current outfit.

His group Loaded will open for Axl Rose’s band at Seattle’s KeyArena on Friday (December 16) and at Vancouver’s Pacific Coliseum on Saturday (December 17), reports Seattleweekly.com.

It is rumoured McKagan may even join the current Guns N’ Roses line-up on a few tracks.

The former Velvet Revolver star joined the band, whose only original member is frontman Axl Rose, for a one-off gig last year. The bassist also hinted prior to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame announcement that the original line-up could reform one day.

That comes despite ex-drummer Steve Adler saying it is “extremely doubtful” that the band will reunite for their induction.

Rose has constantly ruled out any possibility of reforming the original line-up primarily because he doesn’t get on with Slash.

The singer recently revealed in a video , which you can watch below, that he would deliberately steal girls off the guitarist in the band’s heyday and he often got so drunk he would “piss his pants”.

Guns N’ Roses will be inducted at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, on April 14, 2012.
