Guns N’ Roses to release ‘Chinese Democracy’ next month

Band reveal release date of long-awaited new album

Guns N’ Roses will release their long-awaited new album, ‘Chinese Democracy’, on November 23 in the USA.

A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.

The album will be released on a Sunday in the States – ahead of the standard Tuesday album release date, reports Billboard.

Work on the album, which will be the band’s first album since 1993’s ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’ covers album, began back in 1994.

Guns N’ Roses completed the album in June, at a rumoured cost of $30m.

Nine songs from ‘Chinese Democracy’ leaked shortly afterwards.

US-based Blogger Kevin Cogill was taken into custody by the FBI after being suspected of leaking the album.

Cogill has since appealed for funds to aid him in his legal battle.
