James Smith's grime-rave troupe perform at Second Life bash
Hadouken! have told NME what it’s like to play an online festival, after performing at Secondfest – a three-day virtual festival.
The band played a live set that was filmed and beamed onto a virtual screen in the Second Life virtual world.
“I came onstage and made lots of jokes about pixilation,” said Hadouken! singer James Smith. “It was great to play a festival without actually turning up, but unless they invent virtual mud, virtual tents, virtual drunkenness and virtual sex, I don’t think it’s the future.”
