Haim tease new songs and live show ahead of summer return

Band will appear at Reading and Leeds Festival in August

Haim have promised to perform new songs when they make their live return this summer.

The band have been hard at work on the follow up to 2013 debut ‘Days Are Gone’ and will embark on a lengthy set of festivals dates later this year, including appearances in America and Europe.

A short video from the band was posted online overnight. “We’ve just been in the studio for so long. Like, perfecting, and trying to get it right,” they say in it. “At this point, we just wanna go out there and play the songs live.”

Speaking about new music in the latter half of 2015, the three Californian sisters told Zane Lowe they were close to finishing their second album: “We’re getting stuff done. It’s sounding really cool. Essentially the oven has been pre-heated and the oven door is open. More 350 if I’m being honest. Fish fingers in the tray.”

Haim’s only confirmed UK dates at the time of writing will come at Reading and Leeds Festival in August. Check out the teaser clip below.
