Hard-Fi to headline UK festival

Plus they extend their own tour

Hard-Fi are to headline this year’s Orange Evolution Festival.

The band, who performed at the free bash in 2005, will close proceedings on May 29, Bank Holiday Monday.

Now in its fifth year, the North-East’s biggest music festival takes place over ten days, culminating in a huge outdoor free music event on Bank Holiday Monday when Newcastle and Gateshead Quaysides will be transformed to accommodate three stages with over 20 bands performing to an audience expected to exceed 35,000 people.

Last year’s performers also included Dizzee Rascal, Mylo, The Futureheads and Super Furry Animals.

Additionally Hard-Fi have added two extra dates to their UK tour. The band will now play Leeds Millennium Square on May 21 and the Brighton Centre May 26 as well as their sold out dates which include five nights at London‘s Brixton Academy.
