HEAR’SAY CAN’T KEEP AWAY FROM CARDIFF!

Hear'say's Noel reveals he's got another home-town gig...

HEAR’SAY have been added to next month’s Welsh PARTY IN THE PARK line-up.

The band let slip on a Welsh radio interview that they would be joining Catatonia, Ash, Feeder and Five at the free open-air gig at Cardiff Castle on July 14.

Local boy Noel Sullivan told Red Dragon FM presenter Emma Hignett: “We’re going to Cardiff Castle. Not just any castle, it’s Cardiff Castle.

“We’re gonna be down for Party In The Park.”

It’s the second hometown gig for Noel this summer – as reported on NME.COM yesterday (June 8), the band have also been booked to headline next weekend’s Cardiff University Student Union Ball.

That gig is sold out. All 900 tickets were offered to Student Union members first, and they were snapped up straight away.

But 10,000 free tickets will be distributed for the Cardiff Castle show, through local competitions and radio giveaways.

The three-and-a-half hour gig will also feature a1, Dane Bowers, All Stars and Mis-teeq – with another six names to be added in the coming week.

July 14 is going to be a busy day for Welsh pop fans. Robbie Williams will also play the first of two sold-out gigs at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium that night.
