An estimated 2,000 flock to Hamleys toy store to meet Hear'say...
A crowd estimated to be close to 2,000 people gathered at a toy shop in London this afternoon (March 17) as ‘POPSTARS’ band HEAR’SAY touched down at a signing session, promoting their newly launched line of dolls.
The five-piece were at the world famous Hamleys store on Regent Street at the end of a frenetic week of publicity and promotion.
However, there was no repeat of the pandemonium that greeted them at similar in-stores earlier in the week. London’s Oxford Street was brought to a standstill on Monday (March 12), as fans gathered at HMV, and a branch of Woolworths in Milton Keynes drafted in counsellors on Thursday (March 15) to cope with fan hysteria.
The group’s debut single ‘Pure And Simple’ is set to storm to the top of the UK charts tomorrow (March 18) with sales well in excess of 500,000. Hear’say will also take part in a live webchat at 8pm tomorrow. Fans can find them at www.itv.co.uk.
NME.COM will bring you an exclusive video report of today’s scenes tomorrow.
