Forget the Cabbage Patch Dolls! Oh, you already had...
HEAR’SAY are expected to cause yet another fan stampede this Saturday (March 17) when they sign copies of their own dolls at the HAMLEY’S store on LONDON’s REGENT STREET.
The dolls have been put together by Character Options and feature the band wearing ‘Nigel, Pick Me’ T-shirts, complete with accessories, including mobile phones and pagers. Priced £14.99, the individual dolls are being launched by the band – who are also singing – at 2pm on Saturday.
NME.COM can also reveal that Kym from the band is due to record an episode of BBC2’s ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’ on Monday (March 19), prior to the entire band filming an ‘Audience With…’-style show on March 24.
Meanwhile the Hear’say hype machine rumbles on, with news that today’s (March 15) promotional signing at the Milton Keynes branch of Woolworths has seen the shop drafting in counsellors, with the intention of tackling the traumas suffered by hysterical fans.
After the huge turn-out for Monday’s (March 12) signing at London’s HMV (click here to see NME.COM’s exclusive footage of the frenzy) 6,000 fans were expected to turn up at the signing.
