Here’s the weather forecast for BBC’s The Biggest Weekend

Is sun on the way?

We’re less than five days away from BBC’s The Biggest Weekend, and it looks like the weather is going to be pretty good across all four festival sites.

Billed as the BBC’s answer to Glastonbury, The Biggest Weekend will appeal to listeners of Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, and 6 Music, with each station being represented at different locations across the UK.

Swansea, for instance, will see Radio 1 taking residency – with an impressive line-up that includes the likes of Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, BBC 6 Music will take over Belfast for a weekend of acts including Beck, Father John Misty and Manic Street Preachers.

Here’s the forecast in full, according to BBC Weather.

Swansea (BBC Radio 1)

Saturday 26th May: Highs of 20 degrees, lows of 14 degrees. Expect sunny intervals and breezy weather.

Sunday 27th May: Highs of 20 degrees, lows of 15 degrees. Expect sunny intervals and breezy weather.

Belfast (BBC 6 Music)

Friday 25th May: Highs of 20 degrees, lows of 11 degrees. Sunny intervals and occasional breeze expected.

Saturday 26th May: Highs of 19 degrees, lows of 11 degrees. Sunny intervals and occasional breeze expected.

Perth (BBC Radio 2 and 3)

Friday 25 May: Highs of 18 degrees, lows of 10 degrees. Expected scattered sun and wind.

Saturday 26th May: Highs of 18 degrees, lows of 9 degrees. Expected scattered sun and wind.

Coventry (Representing all four UK Nations)

Sunday 27 May: Highs of 23 degrees, lows of 13 degrees. Scattered sun and wind expected.

Monday 28 May: Highs of 23 degrees, lows of 12 degrees. Thundery showers and breezy weather expected.
