Finnish quintet showcase new material at hardcore festival

HIM kicked off the first night of Give It A Name 07 in fine style tonight (April 27).

The Finnish quintet performed a host of tracks from their back catalogue and threw in a cover of Napalm Death‘s ‘You Suffer’ during the hardcore all-dayer at Earls Court.

The band also showcased new song ‘Dead Lovers Lane’ alongside the likes of ‘Vampire Heart’ and ‘Buried Alive By Love’.

Earlier, former Busted member Charlie Simpson took to the stage with his post-hardcore band Fightstar for a short set which included the likes of ‘Build An Army’, ‘Waste A Moment’ and ‘Wake Up’.

Juliette Lewis, who arrived onstage in a peacock feathered headband, pulled in a huge crowd as her band The Licks played an energetic show which culminated in the Hollywood star taking up stick duties during their 30 minute performance which included hit single ‘Hot Kiss’.

Give It A Name 07 continues tomorrow (April 28) with performances from Brand New and Enter Shikari.
