COURTNEY LOVE’s film ‘JULIE JOHNSON’ is to close this year’s LONDON LESBIAN AND GAY FILM FESTIVAL.
The film, directed by Bob Gosse, stars Lili Taylor as Julie, a married suburban housewife who has a secret crush on her best friend (Love). The movie will be screened on April 17 at the Odean West End.
It has not yet seen a full release in the UK, but has already been shown at various film festivals in the US and on mainland Europe.
The London Lesbian And Gay Film Festival is now in its 16th year and aims to showcase the best in gay and lesbian cinema. This year’s events run between April 3-17 at the National Film Theatre and Odeon West End.
