Hole announce US college and radio dates but no plans for British shows...
Hole‘s new single ‘Malibu’ will be released in January, the second single to be taken from the band’s album ‘Celebrity Skin’. This will coincide with the band’s tour of six Australian cities as part of the annual Big Day Out festival alongside THE MANIC STREET PREACHERS, FATBOY SLIM and LO FIDELITY ALLSTARS.
Hole also announced a series of US college and regional radio gigs today which kick off next week at Boston WBCN (December 1), Durham University Of New Hampshire (2), Danbury Western Connecticut State University (4), Washington DC WHFS (5), Seattle KNDD (9), San Jose KITS (10) and Los Angeles KROQ (11).
A spokeswoman for Universal, Hole‘s UK label said that there were no plans for Hole to play any UK dates in the forseeable future though gigs and festival appearances in the summer were likely.
Hole recently played at the London Kentish Town Forum with THE CURE as part of a series of events sponsored by a beer company where major band played small club venues to an invited audience of 1000.
