LOVE JOINS THE ‘LAST PARTY’

Hole vocalist Courtney Love is to feature in a political documentary broadcast and webcast the night before the US presidential election result.

According to the official Hole website, [url=]www.holemusic.com, Love will be interviewed alongside US politicians including Bill Clinton, Al Gore and George W Bush, as well as and other political activists such as Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn in the documentary – titled ‘Last Party 2000’.

The show will be broadcast on US television on November 6, and it is expected it will also be webcast simultaneously.

The site also reports that the soundtrack to the documentary will feature “political anthems” covered by various US rock bands including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots and Rage Against the Machine.

Courtney Love has been in London for a number of weeks recording new tracks for her band Hole. She has been working in the Townhouse Studio with temporary drummer John ‘Fly’ Garner while usual drummer Samantha Maloney tours the US with Mvtley Crue.
