Royal Blood to live stream one-off House of Vans gig

You can watch it this Saturday (December 16) at 9pm (GMT).

Royal Blood have announced that they’ll be live streaming their special House of Vans show this Saturday (December 16).

The Brighton duo announced the show earlier this month, with 10,000 fans entering a ballot to win one of the free tickets for the gig at House of Vans’ south east London location.

Those not lucky enough to be there in person will be able to watch the show live from 9pm (GMT) on Saturday, via the Vans website.

You’ll be able to watch on demand via that link and Royal Blood’s YouTube, for seven days after the performance.

The show marks House of Vans’ last one for 2017, a year in which they continued to celebrate over 51 years of ‘Off The Wall’, and the brand’s commitment to action sports, art, music and street culture.

The live show will be directed by multi-Grammy nominated Director Paul Dugdale, who is responsible for directing concert films and documentaries for artists like The Rolling Stones and The Prodigy.

The stream will be filmed by multiple cameras to give viewers a more realistic experience.

Last month, a spate of thefts at a number of Royal Blood gigs saw over 53 mobile phones stolen, with police arresting a 22-year-old man who had all of the phones in his possession.

The band issued a statement urging fans of future shows to be vigilant.

Last month it was announced that Royal Blood and Wolf Alice would be supporting Queens of the Stone Age on a series of US dates.

Back in October, the pair released their epic video for ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’, the title track from their second album, which came out back in June.
