First song from band's second album 'Exile' to be released on March 10

Hurts have revealed the first single from their second album ‘Exile’.

The duo, Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson, return with ‘Miracle’ on March 10, which will be followed the day after by new album ‘Exile’, the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Happiness’. Scroll down the page to hear ‘Miracle’ in full.

The new track received its first worldwide radio play on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show this morning (Friday, January 4.)

After featuring in the BBC’s Sound Of 2010 poll, Hurts, who until that point remained a mystery with just the black and white trailer to debut single ‘Wonderful Life’ to their name, released ‘Happiness’.

It entered the UK album charts at No 4 with more than 25,000 sales, making them the fastest-selling band of the year. It went on to sell more than two million copies worldwide, reaching No 1 in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg. The pair, who were on the dole when signed to Sony, have also sold more than 250,000 tickets to gigs all over the world.

In addition to the new album, they’ve also announced a UK and European headline tour in March and April alongside an NME Awards show in London and a Berlin gig, both in February.

Hurts play:
London Heaven (February 7, 2013)
Manchester Academy 2 (April 1)
Glasgow Garage (April 2)
