IAN BROWN FINDS FRESH ‘DESIRE’

The star gets to grips with the track 'Desire', which is coming out as a single...

Ian Brown has exclusively remixed the GUS GUS track ‘DESIRE’ and pulled his whole band into the studio to lend his lyrics and vocals to the song.

The former Stone Roses singer added his own personal tweaks to the original and Gus Gus Vs Ian Brown ‘Desire’ will be released on October 13. The track will be the third single to be taken from the band’s ‘Attention’ album.

Ian Brown‘s manager Steve Lowes said “Ian Brown only works with people he wants to work with, musicians he respects, and he loves the Gus Gus album.”

He added, “( Ian Brown) offered to do a remix for them. They didn’t even know Ian Brown was going to add his own vocal to it, but it must be cool for them because they loved it when they heard it.”

The singer is also the latest artist to follow in Morrissey’s footsteps by releasing an ‘Under The Influence’ compilation.

Out on September 8, the album draws on a wide range of musical styles and artists, from The Sex Pistols to The Isley Brothers and Burning Spear.
