Pride Of Scotland Roddy Woomble and his band play three farflung dates in their homeland...
Idlewild have announced three Scottish dates to add to their forthcoming UK tour.
The band, who release new single ‘Actually, It’s Darkness’ on March 27 through Food Records, now kick off the dates by playing Portree Communty Centre Isle Of Skye (March 17), Fort William Cheka Bar (18) and Stirling University (19).
It’s thought the band will be the first ever to play the Isle Of Skye and Fort William, part of the reason that Idlewild chose to play there.
The band, who release new album ‘100 Broken Windows’ on April 10, then go on to play Newcastle University (March 27), Liverpool L2 (28), Leeds Metropolitan University (30), Sheffield University (31), Nottingham Rock City (April 1), Bristol Anson Rooms (4), Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (5), Northampton Roadmender Centre (6), Brighton Concord 2 (11) and London Kentish Town Forum (12).
