Interpol bring forward new album release date

Interpol have brought forward the release date of their new album.

According to Matador Records, the group’s self-titled LP is now due out on September 7 in North America, a week earlier than previously announced.

Set to be released internationally through their own record label Soft Limits, it is unsure at this point if the UK release date will be brought forward or will remain as September 13.

As previously reported, the band have announced details of their rescheduled North American tour, and they begin their UK dates in Nottingham on November 24.

Meanwhile, the New York five-piece have released a HD video for their previously issued track ‘Lights’. Directed by Charlie White, it can be downloaded for free from their official website InterpolNYC.com.
