The self-titled LP is the follow-up to 2007's 'Our Love To Admire'
Interpol have announced that their forthcoming new album will be released in “mid-September”.
In a statement on their official website InterpolNYC.com, the group revealed that the follow-up to 2007’s ‘Our Love To Admire’ will be self-titled.
The band’s fourth studio effort, the LP will be the last to feature bassist Carlos Dengler, who quit the group earlier this year.
Recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York and mixed with Alan Moulder at Assault and Battery in London, the album is set to have an orchestral feel, according to frontman Paul Banks.
