It's the second rock-related theft of the week

Iron Maiden had a guitar stolen after a gig in Athens last Saturday (August 2).

The band have appealed for information on the white Jackson Stratocaster, which bears guitarist Adrian Smith‘s signature and carries the serial number 8467.

The metal giants are offering a signed tour jacket and letter of thanks from Smith as a reward.

“It will be extremely hard to get rid of as it’s the only one in the world,” says a message on the Iron Maiden website.

It’s the second rock-related theft of the week, after a thousands of pounds worth of Iggy And The Stooges gear went missing from outside the Embassy Suites Hotel in Montreal, Canada.
