The rapper is arrested in New York...

JA RULE has seen drug charges against him dropped within 24 hours.

The Murder Inc rapper, real name Jeffrey Atkins, was pulled over early on Thursday (July 1) morning in New York for swerving in and out of lanes without using a signal, according to MTV. He was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.

Appearing in Manhattan Criminal Court later that day, he pleaded guilty to the driving charge and paid $550 in fines and court fees. The misdemeanour possession charge was then dropped.

Rule must also appear in court this coming Wednesday on an unrelated charge.
