JAMES BROWN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

An ex-employee has filed a suit against the Godfather Of Soul in a Californian court...

James Brown is being sued for sexual harassment by a former employee, who claims he demanded she wear zebra print underwear while she massaged him.

According to US press reports, a US$1 million suit was filed in California Superior Court last Friday (May 19) by Lisa Ross Agbalaya, an ex-employee of Brown‘s.

Agbalaya, the former West Coast head of operations for New James Brown Enterprises Inc claims Brown smoked marijuana in the office, boasted to his employees of his “bull testicles” and on one occasion presented her with a pair of zebra print underwear and demanded that she wear them while he massaged her with oil telling her: “I want to rub you down.” Agbalaya alleges that when she rejected Brown‘s demand, he told her that he just wanted to make her “feel good”.

Brown – who appears at London Brixton Academy on July 9 and Essential Festival at Stanmer Park, Brighton on July 16 -denies all charges.
