Jane’s Addiction have cancelled shows on their US tour due to exhaustion.
The tour has been cut short, owing to a “rigorous touring schedule”. Most notably, the reformed rockers had been due to play New York’s Madison Square Gardens on New Year’s Eve, supported by Marilyn Manson and The Used.
A statement from frontman Perry Farrell on [/a] has decided to call off our holiday run of the east and head south to the equator, where we hope to find rest and a new perspective for 2004. We apologise to all our fans and hope that they will understand. We will see everyone in the New Year and happy holidays.”
It is not yet known if the affected dates will be rescheduled.
