BUNTON’S REIGN TO BE SHORT-LIVED?

But look out for Gabrielle and Toploader coming up on the rails...

JANET JACKSON and GABRIELLE are the likeliest candidates to knock EMMA BUNTON off the Number One spot this coming Sunday (April 15).

Bunton‘s debut solo single, ‘What Took You So Long?’, entered the UK chart at Number One yesterday (April 8), and already chart experts are predicting Janet Jackson‘s new single, ‘All For You’, released today (April 9), will knock the track from the top spot after just one week.

A chart expert at HMV commented: “She’s gone back to her pop roots and she has the backing of a lot of people. Radio and television love her, it’s difficult to see a bigger single this week.”

Of the other new releases, Gabrielle releases her new single ‘Out Of Reach’ and Robbie Williams releases a new single, ‘Let Love Be Your Energy’. Both are expected to be Top Ten hits, as is Toploader‘s new single, ‘Only For A While’.

Sugababes, who have just played a series of free UK shows supported by NME.COM, release a new single ‘Run For Cover’, which is expected to break the Top 15.
