Scarlett Johansson covered New Order and Jonah Hill covered Drake at the Vice 20th birthday party
Pulp‘s Jarvis Cocker took on tracks by Celine Dion and Sham 69 at Vice’s 20th birthday party in New York this weekend.
The counter-culture magazine celebrated their milestone with a show at the Brooklyn Navy yard on Friday night (December 5), with the likes of Lil Wayne, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O, Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, Pavement’s Stephen Malkmus, Interpol’s Paul Banks and more performing on the night.
Footage has now emerged of Jarvis Cocker performing Sham 69’s ‘If the Kids Are United’. Cocker also covered Celine Dion’s ‘Power of Love’. Watch below.
Meanwhile, Jonah Hill and Spike Jonze covered Drakesong “Marvin’s Room”, Stephen Malkmus covered the Black Crowes’ song “Remedy” and Scarlett Johansson covered New Order. Watch clips of those performances below.
