NBA chiefs are looking into the rapper's contact with college team

Jay-Z is being investigated by the NBA after making an appearance in the University of Kentucky Wildcats‘ locker room last Sunday (March 27).

The rapper went into the locker room after a game at Newark‘s Prudential Center, home of the New Jersey Nets.

As part-owner of the Nets, Jay-Z is prohibited from making contact with future draft pick players by the NBA.

The rapper could be subject to a hefty fine it NBA chiefs discover that he had any kind of conversations with the college players which they deem inappropriate.

A Kentucky newspaper, the Courier Journal reported that Jay-Z had entered the team’s locker room to shake players’ hands and congratulate them over their regional final win against North Carolina.
