Jay-Z makes surprise appearance with Young Jeezy in D.C.

Rappers team-up on stage for rendition of 'My President'

Jay-Z made a surprise appearance in Washington D.C. last night (January 18), when he joined Young Jeezy on stage at the club Love in the nation’s capital.

The rapper, who is performing the ‘Concert on the Eve of Change’ event tonight (January 19), made the surprise appearance during a remix by Jeezy of the track ‘My President’.

Waxing lyrical about Obama’s mixed-race heritage, Jay-Z rapped: “My president is black, he’s black, he’s half white/ So even in a racist mind, he’s half right/ So if you got a racist mind, it’s alright/ My president is black, but his house is all white,” reports MTV.

According to the report, the crowd in the club chanted along with Hov as he repeated “No more white lies, my president is black!”

As previously reported, LL Cool J, Akon, Mos Def, Young Jeezy and T.I. are among the acts who will attend the ‘Hip Hop Inaugural Ball’ taking place at the Harman Center for the Arts in the capital tonight (January 19).
