The behind-the-scenes documentary features cameos from Beyonce and Russell Crowe

A documentary showing behind-the-scenes footage of the making of Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s album ‘Watch The Throne’ has been released. You can watch it above.

The documentary, which was filmed on flip cameras, was directed, photographed and edited by Robert Lopusk – the man behind West’s ‘Power’ video, Billboard reports.

The footage captures the making of the rap duo’s album in Sydney, Australia, and also includes cameos from Beyonce and actor Russell Crowe.

“In the world of hip-hop, anybody who does something different is a genius, anybody who does something successful is making history,” Lopusk said about the making of the film. “You know it all becomes these exaggerated, bombastic endeavors. And so, for me, I was not interested in that; I was more interested in the smaller moments. The quiet power of talent.”

The ‘Watch The Throne’ tour made its UK debut in back in May, with five consecutive shows at the city’s O2 Arena.

Yesterday, Kanye West revealed that he has written a track titled ‘Perfect Bitch’ for his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian. The track contains a sample from German composer Carl Orff’s 1937 composition ‘Carmina Burana’, which Nas previously used for his single ‘Hate Me Now’.
