John Lennon DVD features unseen performance of ‘Imagine’

The 'Imagine' documentary gets spruced up and a whole load of extras are added...

A previously unseen acoustic performance of ’IMAGINE’ is to feature on the DVD version of the JOHN LENNON film of the same name.

’Imagine’ is released on DVD for the first time on November 14. As well as the John Lennon-narrated documentary, there will be 45 minutes of extras, including an as-yet-unseen performance of ’Imagine’from 1971.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, a new compilation album is also to be released to mark what would have been the 65th birthday of John Lennon, who was murdered in December 1980.

A double CD, ’Working Class Hero – The Definitive Lennon’ is released on October 3. Featuring 38 tracks, the album aims to compile all of the singer’s solo hits and key album tracks.
