ROAD TO SOMEWHERE

Other artists on 'Lost & Found - Vol I' include Bright Eyes and The Jayhawks...

Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes and Johnny Cash are to appear on ‘LOST & FOUND – VOL I’ – a collection of rarities, B-sides and unreleased music from the country flagship label LOST HIGHWAY.

Due for a September release, the album will feature Johnny Cash‘s version of the country classic ‘Wichita Lineman’, Ryan Adams‘ ‘Rosalie Come and Go’ – available on the limited edition of 2002’s ‘Gold’ album – and ‘Trees Get Wheeled Away’, recorded by Bright Eyes especially for the compilation.

Also included is Jayhawks‘ ‘Falling Star’ from their hard-to-find 1986 self-titled debut, ‘Fools On Parade’ from their latest album ‘Rainy Day Music’ and ‘Choked Up’ – an outtake from the recording of ‘Pneumonia’ by the Ryan Adams-fronted Whiskeytown.

According to [url=]Billboard.com, Lost Highway are planning to release the follow-up – ‘Lost & Found – Vol II’ – in 2004.
