The teenage popstar will make a cameo as himself in the popular cartoon
Justin Bieber will make a cameo appearance in an episode of The Simpsons to be aired tonight (May 12).
In the episode ‘The Fabulous Faker Boy’, which airs tonight on FOX in the US, Marge pushes Bart to be more creative and take up piano lessons. At first Bart refuses, until he meets his beautiful piano teacher and is encouraged to enter a talent competition. Bieber appears with his manger Scooter Braun outside the talent show.
Speaking about Bieber’s appearance, Simpsons‘ producer Al Jean told Rolling Stone that show creator Matt Groening requested that the popstar be worked into an episode. He said: “I think he has a family member who was a fan. I think he’s a fan, too. So he asked us to find a place to use him. I think [Bieber] had also met Matt and wanted to be on the show.”
