KELLY AND TROUSERSNAKE STILL SUPREME

It's as you were on single and album countdown...

It’s as you were on the UK chart today (June 1), as R Kelly remains at number one on the single countdown with ‘Ignition’, and Justin Timberlake stays at the top of the album chart.

New entries from a departing S Club, going in at two, Busta and Mariah at three and a returning Radiohead at four fail to unseat Kelly, who has been ontop for four weeks.

It’s a busy week for single releases with 14 new entries on the top 40. Amongst the notable bows, are Eurovision record breakers Jemini. The Scouse pair make the most of the publicity afforded for their nul points showing in Latvia, entering at 15 with ‘Cry Baby’.
