Kaiser Chiefs to play ShockWaves NME Awards Show

The band add extra date to UK tour just for us

Kaiser Chiefs have completed the line-up for this year’s ShockWaves NME Awards Shows, confirming a special intimate gig.

The Leeds band’s full UK tour sold out in minutes when it went on sale last week (January 9), however they will now play a show London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on March 2 as part of this year’s awards.

Support will come from Ripchord and The Twang.

“We are excited to be part of the NME shows again,” declared frontman Ricky Wilson. “We played before back in 2005 as well as playing at the awards that year. Not only that, the NME has given us a shelf full of awards as well as giving Ryan Jarman (from The Cribs) the opportunity to dive on a table of glasses live in front of millions.”

Tickets for the show go on sale tomorrow morning (January 16) at 9am.
