Does It Offend You Yeah? cover Devo at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival

The band crowd surf out of festival after trashing stage

Does It Offend You, Yeah? covered DEVO at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival today (August 26).

The band did a version of ‘Whip It’ during their opening set on the Dance Tent.

The band played a blistering Daft Punk-influenced set and gave shout-outs to two other bands.

Co-singer and guitarist James said: “Did anyone see The Teenagers? Did anyone see Crystal Castles?”

He told the crowd before ‘Let’s Make Out’: “We played a homecoming show yesterday in Reading and it fucking went off. Can you beat that Leeds?”

During closer ‘We Are Rockstars’, James thrashed the stage and threw the keyboard off stage with his guitar.

Co-frontman Morgan climbed up on an amp and kicked a football into the crowd and the whole band crowd surfed into the audience.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? played:

‘Battle Royale’

‘We Are Doomed’

‘Whip It’

‘Let’s Make Out’

‘We Are Rockstars’
