Kaiser Chiefs to play surprise show at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival

Hooks For Hands true identity revealed

Kaiser Chiefs are to play a surprise hometown show at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival today (August 26).

Yorkshire‘s indie superstars, who were thought to be enjoying time off this weekend, will perform under the pseudonym Hooks For Hands at 1.30pm today.

The performance, top secret until this morning, follows a similar stunt last weekend (August 18-19) from Foo Fighters at the V Festival.

Despite headlining the Main Stage on both sites, Dave Grohl‘s returning rockers played surprise acoustic sets in the morning on the Channel 4 Stage, under the guise of 606.
