Kaiser Chiefs to play launch of new Leeds Arena

Hometown gig is set for September 13, 2013

Kaiser Chiefs are set to play the first ever gig at the newly built Leeds Arena next year on September 13, 2013.

Bassist Simon Rix said: “Having played everywhere in Leeds from the Duchess (RIP) to Elland Road, we are massively happy that Leeds has built somewhere new for us to play.”

The band’s return to their hometown will come after a busy year of touring which will include dates in South America and supporting Green Day on their European tour.
